Oregon Business Magazine’s Ben Jacklet sat down with Integra Telecom’s CEO this week to talk about their recent debt restructuring, the possibility of layoff’s and the company’s future. Jacklet asked some very tough questions, many of which are published in his write up on the Oregon Business Magazine web site.
Integra Telecom has been on of the most successful companies to come out of Oregon since the many Intel and Tektronics spin off’s. Headquartered in the Lloyd District, they employe over 700 people in Oregon and operate in 10 other states.

And the layoffs have came only 4 months after this article/RIGHT before the holidays…. Gotta make sure the New Investors Collect a Christmas Bonus- I Suppose
Yep i know all about it it sucks very bad for the 80 people let go.
I am an Integra Rep, and feel bad about the layoff situation. Yes, timing is off~ most defintely, but this is the last thing upper management wanted to do. They have been very open with us on everything and although this was unexpected, I do believe that this was in the best interest of the company!
If you were laid off~ my apologies and I wish you the best of luck in making it through.
