bridgeThe Oregon Transportation Commission today approved a $30 million allocation to the Columbia River Crossing project. The Oregon Department of Transportation and the Washington Department of Transportation have agreed to share equal costs for the overall Columbia River Crossing project.

The $30 million comes from a Transportation Project Account established by the Oregon State Legislature in House Bill 2001. The bill outlines several projects to be funded through bond sales and other revenue generated by the bill, with remaining funds available for allocation by the OTC.
