Posted by Just after midnight Sunday morning, November 8, 2009, Clackamas County Deputy Sheriff’s and Clackamas Fire District #1, responded to conduct a marine rescue involving a woman who slipped down an embankment and into the swift flowing Johnson Creek.
Concerned citizens called the Clackamas County Communications Center, reporting a woman was in the water behind a residence at the address of 7235 SE Label, in Portland. Callers could hear the woman in the water screaming, although she was not able to be seen –- this portion of the embankment along Johnson Creek is covered with widespread blackberry bushes, which hampered visibility.
Rescue personnel located the woman in the water clinging to overhanging blackberry bushes in an estimated 10′– 15′ of water. First responders utilized ‘Buddy Bags’ (a floatation device attached to a long length of rope) during efforts to pull the woman to safety.
At 12:31 a.m. Amy Marie Brandt, age 32, of Milwaukie, was removed safely from the Johnson Creek, and transported by American Medical Response to Providence Milwaukie Hospital, where she was examined and released.
An investigating Clackamas County Deputy Sheriff report reveals Amy Brandt is believed to have been sharing an exterior hot tub with a male companion, Ryan Michael Henderson, 31, at the address of 7411 SE Johnson Creek Boulevard, in Milwaukie.
With the Johnson Creek flowing directly along the rear of Ryan Henderson residence, Henderson states he and Amy Brandt were in the hot tub and began to argue. Brandt is described to have exited the hot tub and walked to the edge of the Creek, where she ultimately fell into the frigid water.
A routine law-enforcement database inquiry reveals Amy Brandt is ordered by the court, not to have any contact with Ryan Henderson. Recognizing this violation, Amy Brandt was arrested upon her release from Providence Hospital and lodged in the Clackamas County Jail. (Photo Attached)
Amy Brandt was lodged with a charge identified as a violation of a release order. Brandt will be arraigned on this matter Monday, November 9, 2009, at 3:00 p.m. in Clackamas County Circuit Court.

I know his family and yes all familys have there problems. I know she is not the only family he has..Family is what you make it in fact.. My question is if it keeps going on why not change it.. You make your own family when you get delt a not so great one. He has lots of people that love ane care about him..
He has a family who only cares about themselfs…. they are never there for him but yet he is always there for them… they only talk to him when they want something from him or when its on their time and convienence… his family has no room to talk about anyone else in this world… they are no where near perfect…
If Amy in fact messing with another womans man.. Why is Amy back at his place as of this min. If in fact Amy is not his girlfriend where is his girlfriend at while all this is going on..
Maybe because he doesnt have any other girlfriends… there is only one girl in his life.. and she will be there forever so deal with it….
So I was told about this and what is going on. I have to laugh at all of this. If Ryan loves this girl like is being said then why does he sleep with other females when she is away. I am sure all the females would love to know.
my dad lives in tht same building and they did not pull her out until about 1 am and it took about 25 dumbass fireffighters to do it, and the two dumbass sheriffs that were there were trying to intimadate ryan into "confessing" to pushing her in. noone of them offered him a blanket (all cops carry army blankets) or even let him go inside to grab some clothes (he was in his boxers). i had to go inside and grab a towel for him as a citizen. and when they finally pulled the poor girl out, they nonchalauntly stripped her to her skivvys in front of all the bystanders (as if the hour in the creek didnt kill her im sure the 30 second ride to the ambulance in her wet clothes would have been fine)
I personally think that Amy her self needs to have some serious mental help. She is one that has never been stable. This fight between them is one that has made it to the news. There is countless eves where she has got out of control do to her and her out of control drinking. Ryan beinging himself always takes her back. For what? I guess the next go around.

Your correct on that.. It does take two. At what point do you become the adult and say enough is enough. I dont know anyone that has heated words with one that your to love and jumps in a fast flowing creek knowing we just had a storm. I wonder what was really going on in ones mind. Im not saying just one is to blame by any means. Both parties need to stop and look at the big picture and first and formost would be Kaden.What child should have to be around that. Its just not healthy for any one in that fact.We all have our own words on what we think and feel. I just see this ending up worse if it cont. between them.
As far as i knew they actually wernt fighting that night and she didnt "jump" in…. its funny how people assume things about situations…. but unless you were involved or are involved in their relationship i do not believe you have any room to be throwing your opinions around when this clearly doesnt involve you… i believe they both have things to work on within themselfs and kayden hasnt been in a healthy relationship since the day he was born… he has also seen his mom's side of alcohol, fighting, and guys coming and going and being in his life. So why dont you take your negative comments and go focus on your own life instead of sticking your nose where it doesnt belong and let them all live their lifes how they want to instead of trying to control it…. im sure you have plenty of things to be doing then butting in when you and your comments are really not wanted.
So in fact it may not be for me to put my opion out there on this but when it come to my friends and how or what she does to them does give me a right to say how i feel. Last I knew we lived in america we have the right to freedom of speach.. With Amy she makes sure that everyone knows whats going on when she is drinking. She in fact steal from her boyfriends neighbors and trashes there proporties. Not only that but crying rape.From my understanding THEY were fighting and she did jump in. I think with you saying for me to keep to myself on this is incorrect due to the fact it made news and the papers from the beach all the way to Seattle. I just wish more people would have the guts to speek up and say how they really feel. I am by no means taking sides. They both need to get some help.

I would have to agree with mee. It has infact been calm but it is a count down tell the next fight. It seems to happen just about every weekend. This last one has made it to the top and it will be a bit until it blows over.

If his family is only out for themselfs then why has his dad,brother and sisters been right there for him. Ryans dad has set him and his son up in a place to live,set him up with his business.I know his family loves him and may not agree with what he has picked for his life but they still let him live it and are there to help and support him. You show me a family that is in fact perfect.

By no means am i saying families are perfect… but his dad, brother and sisters have NOT been there for him… they are NOT supportive of his decisions and his life and what he chooses… if that was the case they would lay off him for being in a relationship with the girl he loves… if they were there for him they would comfort him in his stressful times in life and be there regardless of the situation… His dad wont even look at ryan now… brother is a selfish shady guy, the only one who isnt judging is one of his sisters who still supports him…. the other sister hasnt called to see how he's doing… His dad didnt set him with a nice house and his own business… ryan worked hard for what he has and has made his house more of what it ever used to be… he set up his own business without the support of his dad… his dad calls him up wasted and tells ryan what a peice of shit ryan is etc… yeah thats called family love and support… family love should be unconditional regardless of ANY situation…. his family does not have unconditional love.. they only have it for themselfs….
All I have to say is that Ryan had friends until Amy came along. He has pushed all his friends away and that some have chose to not come around do to drama. Ryan is as much to blame as everyone is blaming Amy. Time to open everyones eyes.If you point at one you need to point at the other.
