timbersThe Portland Timbers have a deep-seated aversion to losing this season. After an opening-day loss, they have not lost a match, winning fourteen and drawing ten. Coming home from a nil-nil draw in Charleston, the Timbers meet up with the Rochester Rhinos at PGE Park on Thursday, September 3. The match starts at 7:00 pm. Tickets start at $11 and may be purchased at the PGE Park box office, at Ticketmaster outlets or online at Ticketmaster.

The Timbers are currently atop the USL-1 league table and have clinched a spot in the playoffs. The Rhinos are fifth in the league, and in playoff contention. Rochester has performed much better on the road; they have won half of their away matches this season, compared to only three wins at home. The Timbers have the Rhinos’ number this season, however, winning both of the previous meetings.

Testify! :) That would be great, because we'd get the first round bye in that event.
