The singing, acting and dancing sensation will kick off her North American tour here in the Rose City on September 4th and ends in Miami on December 2nd. One of the biggest changes for her concert is the introduction of paperless tickets through a ticket masters experimental program. According to a press release, “All tickets will be sold exclusively through paperless ticket delivery which means fans will not receive a physical concert ticket for their entry into the event.” This could also explain why Miley Cyrus is launching her tour here in Portland, as it is hailed as one of the greenest cities in the nation. Ticket holders will be required to bring the credit card they used to purchase the tickets as well as photo id. Miley’s concerts are big draws and bring in even bigger bucks for her brand. Her last concert series alone brought in over $55 million dollars and sold almost 1 million tickets.
